I just read newspaper that there were so many lovers choosing to get married yesterday on Sep 9th, 2009 . Yes as you said that number 9 is lucky and auspicious in China . 9 means long relationship . Therefore a lot of young people got married yesterday. It also becomes fashion , i think. Some just knew each other for only one or two month they decided to get married yesterday . Also a lot of mothers gave a birth to their baby yesterday by having an operation .

Hi bhanusb. How r u..? It is a fantastic thinking and good research. Last 8 years also we were having the same feeling. 1st January 2001 ie 01/01/01, like wise 02/02/02 so on up to 08/08/08 last year. Really we are proud of living in such auspicious days. Oh that means today was a really lucky day.Oh i regret why i dint read the discussion earlier as today i just wasted my day in doing something that wasnt important,well thats life.Talking about the dats i have also posted a discussion once which showed serial numbers like 3-4-5-6-7-8 taking the date, year and time with seconds into consideration, dont you think it was really amazing and lucky thing?:)

I have thought that it was fun for the last several years to have the dates like this and I know that I am truly going to miss it because it's been so much fun. As for the couples that have selected today to be their wedding day, I wish all of them the best of luck in their marriages and I really and sincerly hope that today does live up to all the luck that the number nine is supposed to hold.
And, thanks for taking the time to let us know that the addition of the numbers in the date for today also equal nine. I would have never have thought to think that far.
