I love swimming but you couldn't have paid me a million dollars to get in shark infested waters..even if I didn't see the shark at the time. They might have a purpose in this world like everything else does..but doesn't mean I like them..

Chicken? Are you sure? Well, I do love chicken..But the closest I will ever come to a shark if probably television and that is fine by me..They have have to many sharp teeth for my liking.

As an Australian who also used to be a Surf Lifesaver, you kind of get used to shark sightings at the beach! If people knew how close sharks were to them most times they swam in the ocean, they'd never swim again! The fact of the matter is that you have a greater chance of being struck by lightning than being attacked by a shark and as per usual, common sense prevails. The worst part about what you've shared is that typical human reaction behaviour will usually mean that people will look to destroy the sharks concerned.

Hey ersmommy1, do you live in the Cape? Yes, I hard of this news and my friend actually told us he saw them! I don't think I would go into the water again this year... it's gonna be cold soon...
