What does Cottage Cheese taste like?

I recently read that cottage cheese is a great low-fat source of protein and that a lot of body builders eat it because of that.
I have never tasted it before, so I would like to know what it tastes like? Let me know if you like or dislike it and best describe what it tastes like.
For you do eat cottage cheese what are the best ways to eat it?
