why don't balding men shave it off

why hold on to a few strands of hair. you'd probably look better bald. if you're balding plz explain to me why (i'm not trying to be mean)

yes, i think it is better shaving it off.
yes, they look sexy with the shaved head.

I am not a balding man, but I would say that some men look better with just a little hair than no hair at all, sometimes because of the shape of their head. I know a couple people like that they have lost a lot of their hair, but they just wouldn't look the same if they shaved it off.
Also, they could leave it because if they shaved their head they would probably have to shave everyday just to keep it up or else they would get obvious stuble growing out of just parts of their head. If they keep some kind of length to the hair they have left it would be less maintenence and they wouldn't have to have it trimmed that much.
I'm just guessing. Maybe someone who is living it will chime in.
