I've tried researching this on the internet and modify my network settings, but none seem to be working since I still could not surf the internet using my PSP. What am I doing wrong? Anyone who has tried it, would you be generous enough to share whatever information you have? Would appreciate it a lot. Thanks!

Going online using your PSP is very simple, but you need to have a WiFi connection available for it. PSP will not connect to internet with a WiFi connection.
To connect to internet using PSP go through the following steps
1. Go to Network Settings
2. Select Infrastructure Mode
3. Select New Connection
4. If you select Scan it will show you all the available WiFi networks
5. Select the one that you have the authorization or the free one
6. If authorization required, enter the WEP key
7. You should be done and your PSP should connect to internet.
Let me know if you are still facing any trouble.

I have tried connecting online with a wiFi connection and I even have the WEP key for it. But still, it reports error and I am sure that I am following the same process. All of the above steps you have shown were basically what I have used as well. I might trying looking for a free wiFi and see if i can connect online.
