Grey's Anatomy vs House

Hi!
I'm a nursing graduate and I'm saving up for a medical series. I love both Grey's and House! Sadly, I think I can only afford to buy all seasons of only one series. You see, I hate getting interrupted in the middle of watching a series on DVD, and I don't like having to switch from one series to another. So, I want to ask for your opinion? Which would be more logical for me to buy? Grey's Anatomy or House?

I personally do not wtach either of the shows. However I have a couple of friends who watch House they said it was a funny show. So maybe go for Grey's anatomy that would probably the better choice for a more medical based series. Hope you like it either way though. Happy watching and happy mylotting.

Thanks for replying! Actually, House is a funny show, based on Dr. House's sarcasm and downright unruly and unethical antics.. Grey's does have funny episodes, but not not all the time :)

i like house more than grey's anatomy. dr gregory house's character is so interesting. he is cynical, rude, disrespectful, sarcastic, bitter and detached but at the same he is funny and really intelligent. and hugh laurie won awards playing dr house's character. i also watch grey's anatomy but house is more intellectually stimulating and entertaining for me.

hello im also a nursing grad, .i havent watched any of these shows but i would love to. you see... you can actually search or watch some episodes online on surfthechannel.com or blinkxtv.com. that way, you will know about the show before you buy the dvd set. hope u like this advice :-)

Thanks! :) I've been looking for good sites that I can watch online too :) Sort of a sneak preview for me.. I suggest you watch both series ;) I'm buying for sake of collecting and watching it over and over again :)

That honestly sounds tricky, especially concerning the reason why you are wanting to buy the series for.
But, going with others say, I think that Grey's Anatomy may... or I hope... it's a better choice. House is pretty darned funny in my book and presents rather odd medical situations, however, as I was told by someone who's been studying medicine, some cases slip away a "bit" from reality and thus would make the study of them a bit pointless.
Not to say it's all BS, but I guess that one too many cases are just so random occurrences that the possibility of seeing them happen in real life may be rather slim.
