Nope, sadly, they are not the expressive type of parents. It would have been great to be able to hear those words from my parents. They have been faithful in providing for all my needs when I was still studying and I know that it is their way of saying they love me but it is still different to actually hear them say it to me. Now that I am married, I make sure that my kids understand how much I love them, I express my love to them both in words and in action.

Hi jen, NO, not at all from my dad. He is a man with few words. Actually I prefer action than lip service. My husband is a 'NATO' meaning :- NATO = No Action Talk Only He can say 'I Love you' everyday but if you asked him for a favour, he will rather stick to his newspaper That's the reason I used to tell him that his phrase of 'I love you' is meaningless....LOL My mum do not say the magic word too but her actions speak a thousand words, her thought can launch a thousand ships! That is my mum...I love her very much....but I did not ttell her, I show her with my action, little deed that I care for her! All the best and how about you?

Hnnestly, never but I'm not sad or i don't feel bad about it. Why? My father is not that type of person, that says I love you any time. He is the most responsible father in the whole world. He showed his love in many ways. Caring for us, helping when we need him, or even if we don't need him. ALways a good listener!!!! I'm So proud of him. He never made my mother cry... ever! I love my father.. Do you? love yours? Oh my mother always tells us how she love us...SO I love her too!
