When was the last time you eat with your whole family?

In this very busy world , many people often eat alone, Especially the busy mommy or daddy. I still remember how my mother used to shout for dinner. Because we never together during lunch time, because of work and school so we should be always together during our dinner. So I kind of passed this to my family now. We always make it a point to eat together during dinner, but of course there are times that i myself missed it too due to some valid reasons. When was the last time you eat with your whole family? Me? Last night.

For Me,it was at varying times over the first weekend in August...My family had come together in London that weekend for my newest baby nephew's Christening!

I don't necessarily believe that you must eat around a table in order to have a formal discussion with relatives. The TV is a modern nuissance for relatives to boggle over rather than forming new and closer relationships with friends and relatives.

I try to eat with my whole family once a day. It's hard during breakfast with everyone leaving the house at such different times, so it's rarely then. Also, with school and work, it's hard to handle eating lunch together during the week. So during the week, it is often dinner that we eat together. On the weekends, it's more likely lunch, because I like to go out or someone else in the house will have something to do.

I agree with you, people are just busy everyday and sometimes they will even skip their meal time or delay their lunch or dinner. It is so hard to get everyone at home and eat together .
For me, I normally eat with my kids. My hubs hardly join us as he is too busy and he have never fix on what time to come back .
But he will be sure spend his weekend at home and that is the time we will eat together.
More ever after married, I have not been meeting my family for so often. Once in while we will have gathering for the whole family of mine. We will dine in at our favorite restaurant and eat together.

Oh wow..Now i missing them terribly and i envy you for having one last night. It's been a year that i haven't been back in my home country, so eating with my family is the thing i am looking forward now. This October, God willing, i am going back and will eat really with them. I won't let my 8 days of vacation to pass without having to eat with them, who knows when will that be again. In this very busy world, it is nice to have a get together with our family. Life is too short to ignore the best people we have. Happy mylotting..
