My life started to turn when I failed in grade 3, all my classmates when up grade 4 and I was left alone on the same level. I felt left behind and there seemed to be no bright future ahead for me. When I reached grade 5, schoolwork was so hard and I started thinking what life is all about, how am I different from a pig who just grows up to be slaughtered. What meaning is there to all the struggles and pain that lie ahead of me when all these successes or failures will only mean nothing when I go to the grave... Please share an experience that made you what you are now and changed or influenced the way you live your life now?

I think you are so profound saying that "how am I different from a pig who just grows up to be slaughtered." That is so meaningful. "What meaning is there to all the struggles and pain that lie ahead of me when all these success or failures will only mean nothing when I go to grave." I will never forget this. I think you are something as a person. What made who I am now? I was never without TRIALS. They molded me to become who I am now. Trials made me stronger in person and in faith. My father was an amputee. When we were on that part of our life thinking about how is life for my father after loosing a limb, I just always tell my family that God will never abandon us. And yes, God never abandoned us. From then on, in every trial I say, "everything will be fine." (^_^)

In life, sufferings are unavoidable. Even if life is a bed of roses, roses are not without thorns. Sufferings without knowing its purpose is indeed unbearable. You're right to count sufferings as trials to prove our faith in God. Tribulations are part of the "all things" that God causes to work together for good. Because of this, we can receive tribulations as the sweet visitation and incarnation of grace and thereby boast in them. "But we can boast in our tribulations, knowing tribulations produces endurance, and endurance, approvedness; and approveness, hope; and hope does not put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us" (Rom. 5:2-5, RcV).

When my friends continued their studies and I had to wait till I get money to pay the fees I felt that I was left behind but later realized that infact I am better that them as I will get more time to work and thus have money and time to study better too, I learn that we should not complain more about life and do not have to blame parents for not being able to provide us with the money, they have done much for us now our turn so today I am someone who say "Life loves me"

Your parents may not have provided you all the money in the world but thankfully they have given all their love in the world for you and nurtured you with a thankful heart. May you continue to give thanks always!

Hey, Yea I am in a similar situation right now. I actually failed year 12, so I had to do year 12 again, and all of my friends had already left and I had no friends. But it doesn't really matter now, it changed my life only temporarily. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
