I like it in spite of them carrying the stereotype way too far. Or maybe that is part of why I like it because hopefully it will make people see just how stupid it is to have such stereotypes. I'm a scientist(physicist) and I don't think I(or most scientist) fit that stereotype. I have been a tennis player, golfer, bowler, etc. I have dated many very attractive women and been married once. Yes, I have done all that in spite of being a scientist and being a little shy because of a speech problem that I had as a young child.

yeah, i agree with you. what they do on the show is not exactly what happens in real life all the time. geeks/nerds are cool people.

I was so glad Jim Parsons got nominated for an Emmy for playing Sheldon. It was about time. He was ignored the first season. I own the first season on DVD. I would really like the second season as well. I know a small spoiler about The Big Bang Theory, would you like to know? It is my favorite comedy.

he is my favorite character, i can totally relate to him and his quirks me and him would get along great. ha ha put downs and all. his lack of social skills amuses me to no end, i have friends like that, and i too can be like that at times, so i am told.

don't forget to watch the emmys on the 21st and let's keep our fingers crossed for a jim parsons win. i would really love to see him onstage and give a speech.
what's the spoiler? i already saw photos of the 3rd season and they all had beards and they looked weird and funny.

I love Big Bang Theory! The show is so funny. Sheldon is hilarious. I love the way Penny will do something and all the guys are like "oh no" because they know Sheldon will go off. I can't wait till it starts. That and How I met your mother make my Monday night! lol. I can't wait to see if Penny and Lenard will end up together.

i agree. do you think penny and sheldon will hook up someday? lol. the leonard-penny tandem does not really appeal to me. sheldon and penny have more chemistry. haha.

most of my favorite big bang theory moments are scenes where sheldon's in it. is it correct to assume that sheldon is the most loved character in the show? haha.

hehe, yep sheldon is really cool..:D jim parsons doing it well..:D but the hungarian translation and the voices suxx..:( so i watch BBT in original english with subtitles! but it's my favourite series...

Big Bang Theory is an okay show. I do have it as one of my shows that record on season pass on my DVR, but it is not like a must see. I just get around to watching it when I feel like it and not as soon as I can like some other shows.
