my friend saw this question in the net and asked me this question, what do you think? In the first place we do not know if heaven or hell exist .. now the new question is the population ??
- based on Bible & Quran i believe it could be 0 as the judgement day is not done yet
- based on Hinduism it could be 0 too as we are sent back to earth to serve our karma
- based on atheist it is non existence ...
what do you guys think

If you can supply the exact number of people who have ever lived on earth, you have the exact number of people who occupy heaven and hell, for there is no alternative but these two. The only number you wouldn't have is the number in each place, but Jesus Himself said there would be more in hell than in heaven.

Since the Bible says that it is not God's will that any man should perish, and I take that to mean hell for what the popular belief of hell is, I would say the numbers are very low. I figure that even though God has given man free will, I think it is possible that God will give every person the utmost opportunity to get to know Him and accept Him. I figure that God is a whole lot bigger than my thoughts, so I believe that the God of love will surprise us all with some very good results.

hi sys
i like your answer : "God will give every person the utmost opportunity to get to know Him and accept Him." so possibly we will visit Hell, change our selves and move on to be beside him in heaven ..
but the question still remains - it is still empty now until judgement day ??

Hello my friend sanjana_aslam Ji,
The answer lies in your question. If there is nothing like hell and heaven, there i sought to be no population there. Let it be any ways, but I think, hell is here only and it is heaven when we depart.
May God bless You and have a great time.

Heaven is very big to accommodate any number of people(Souls) who qualify, but is very thinly populated. Hell is heavily populated, but elastic enough to accommodate all who enjoy coming there: For Hell certainly has its admirers.
