i saw the movie about this and i found it so hilarious. you know it seems to me it shouldn't have gone on 10 days if you really really wanted to loose him. you could just say, you know i don't believe we are compatiable but we can be associates and maybe hang out from time to time but nothing serious. A real adult will understand and go their separate way because two chances to one they don't like rejection or handle it well, and also if they are really in to you they don't want to be just your friend and would rather just never see you again. No hard feelings glad to have met you. How about it ladies haven't you ever just told a man this up front?

That's true, but the movie is based on her doing an article on "how to lose a guy in 10 days." And it's just a movie. I thought it was really funny. But yeah, in real life, a girl probably won't go 10 whole days before losing a guy if she didn't like him.

I have said this before...but she had to have him do the breaking up. Her whole story wouldn't have worked if she had just been up front. She had to do everything in her power to turn him away from her. Just like his deal where he had to get her to fall in love with him before his big party. I absolutely LOVE this movie!

Did you really not understand the point of the movie?? Not to be rude, but the point was to get the guy to break up with her, not for her to break up with him.
