So, What to do in the mean time???

So, What do I do in the mean time? I work with a home health care company. I go to ppls houses and help clean or just spend some much needed time with them. I have a lot of clients that are poor or just disable. The bad thing is with all that is going on with the home health care and everything, the ppl in this world are not seeing the truth. Or, at least not all of it. Like, I have one lady that just got out of the hospital after having surgery. She is suppose to take it easy. Right, her young grandson is the only happy thing going on in her life right now. But, she has no car so she has to walk every where. The reason why! Her income is so low that she makes just enough for bills (if that). So, no taxi for her. There are no buses. And, the only time medical transport will take her some where is three day notice and has to be the doctor or hospital. So, how is she suppose to live a normal life if she either has to walk everywhere or just sit in her house alone waiting to die? And, some of my clients do even have enough food or clothing to last the months. Some no heat or air. There are so many problems and I have know clue what to do. But, what gets me is why does the government help the one's that are on drugs or just popping out babies just to get the free services. And, why do I have to take random drug test but the junkies don't? I see so many problems and so much suffering. So, any clues on how do I help all these ppl in the mean time? Maybe, a list of services or something? I live in MO. just encase the list might differ. Or, could the government or state not get trolleys? That would be nice. Or, buses? Something!!!
