i rent cause it's linked to my work, one day i want to have my own home with a bit of land also. it makes you wish you bought a block of land yrs ago with the prices the way they are, you'd then now be able to make a fortune of it. people wanting to live out side the city but not to far out that they are away from things. but depending on where you are, rent would be about the same as a mortage. best of luck with it.

I own my own house which is about 22 years old. It has 3 bedrooms and two baths with a big backyard. However, I will hopefully be selling my house by next year so I can move to Puerto Rico. Rents are just as high as mortgage payments so why not own a house. At least its yours and you can do as you wish with your house. When you rent you have rules to abide by from the landlord. Good luck to you!

Right now I am in the middle of a transition period. I lived in the same house for 15 years, then last fall, I decided to rent it out and live in the south for a while. After winter, I moved back up north and lived with a friend. Now, I am considering taking 2 apartments that I own and converting them into one and living there until I can buy another house. Good luck to you in finding a place that is reasonable. Or maybe, if you have a good location, you could just remodel your house instead of spending the money on purchasing a newer one. Have a great day!

a beautiful house - House should be cosy
Hi, Now I am not staying at my parents' house. We have bought a house with land together and the house is quite comfortable. Luckily we got this house comparatively at a rather low cost. So now this is my/our own house.
