wow, 8 cats? I wish I could have any more then the one I have, but she doesn't like other cats. I guess I like Siamese cats, because mine is half that and half Persian, and she's beautiful. I'm still surprised to sometimes see other cats that kinda look like her, because to me it's like seeing someone that looks like one of my friends or something.

Juli - is the "kitty" photo a real photo of your cat? If so - she's absolutely beautiful! Such a regal and yet cuddly mix of breeds - Persian and Siamese. I would love one of those one day, too. How old is yours?

I simply adore cats in general and I'd take even a stray cat in, but, when it comes to breeds, Siamese and Mainecoon do come high in my list of likings, at least in what it concerns house cats, but I guess that it'd be a bit too difficult to keep a lynx in house.

What do you find difficult in having a lynx cat as a house cat? I'm not too familiar with that breed. But I agree with you on two points - I adore cats and would take in a stray too. And Siamese are very high on my list! I'm surprised how much the price to purchase one has climbed over the years, tho. And being in suburban Atlanta, I think it's more expensive here. When I got my last Siamese 13 years ago, she was $150. In this area they are now $300 at a minimum.

Hi mylv82, I love persian cats because they are really affectionate. Where I used to live there was a couple of Persian Cats on the ground floor and when I used to go down the stairs sometimes the white one with green eyes used to scratch on the stair window and meow at me. Hows about that? Cats know when they are loved. I cannot have Cats where I live they forbid everything here even a goldfish! I can vouch for that one. In general I like all cats tigers and lions too. But persian cats for me have to be the best.

Hey there!! I actually like the British Short hair. Our cats here were actually that breed. I lost my favorite about a year ago and I really miss him because he's the only one I actually had a deep 'connection'... so sad, really...
