Are you very conscious about your skin?

What skin color do you have? I have white skin and before I do not like it. I am a Filipina and typical Filipina have tanned skin and I like tanned skin. But base on my experience not all Filipina wants a tanned skin and some of my friends got jealous with the color of my skin.
As of now, I am being exposed to sun so much that somehow I got darker skin but not much dark skin. Still, I have this white complexion, its just not as white compare before. How about you? Do you care much about the color of your skin.

I am from India and my skin is a light brown color. People say that i am fair and by Indian standards i suppose i am. I am not very particular about the colour of my skin or complexion since it does not matter to me at all.Whatever i have is due to the grace of God and i humbly accept it with no reservations. I suppose i have no choice nor am i going to do anything like what the late Michael Jackson did to his skin.

What makes me really conscious about my skin are the pimple scars. I am so conscious of it to the extent that i buy whitening soaps to ligthen them. So far, what really worked for me is exfoliation. I do this every 3 months.
