Learn Malaysian language, Some simple words: ENG. | BAHASA MALAYSIA I,ME = saya, aku, YOU = awak, anda, kamu, WE = kami LOVE = cinta, sayang, LIKE = suka HATE = Benci Want more? just ask.. I will translate it for u..(^_^) If i can..hehe

I know a few language of my locality such as Hindi,Malayalam,Tamil it seems the Malaysian language is somewhat similar to the south Indian languages,the Tamil is much suited to this language,the words like meanings for we,like and all,in Malayalm its nanggal for we and and ishttam for like. The tongue needs a bit more twisting while the pronouncing our our languages,is it the same in your too. well how does one ask 'what's our name' and 'how are you'.

Tq for your respond. :) Well, here, when someone ask what our name? They might say like this.. "Siapa nama awak/kamu/kau?" = What is your name? "awak" is more polite and people at semenanjung Malaysia always use it. kamu or kau is not polite. You may use it when talking with your friends or someone that you know.. For the best, I suggest u to use Awak word.. More polite and more suitable exspecially for Non Malaysian. While, how are u? We say like this.. Apa khabar? mm.. about the pronounciation, There might be a lot of differents..:) Hard for me to explain.. Like Japan, the way the pronouncing quite differents from us (Malaysian).. (^_^)

I would definitely try the words out to the people who do not know the a b c d of the Malaysian language and make them guess which language it sounds like.Have a good day.
