Chat Friends can't be more than acquaintance

hi yes chat friends are only virtual friends.there are chances of meeting them,but when we meet we may not be able to talk with each other when met in real.even i have got very good online friends,with whom i share some of the things ,which i never shared with my real friends.but we never know,when we meet them in real,but i would like to meet some of very good online friends. have a great time

Yes you are right. If you have been chatting for a long time, there is already something going on between you and your chat mate.

agreed there are many chat friends who never be more than mere aquaintances .either we loose out on them or we ourselves don't go beyond that. sometimes you can open up to real strangers as u tend to see them as non judgemental or neutral which is not true for other significant relationships you are into.so you don't want to enter into something like that and just continue being as aquaintances.

Sometimes I feel more comfortable telling my secrets and my feelings to my online friends. It may be because they can not see me which makes me comfortable. I care less about my embarrassment telling them how stupid I was or how silly I was to make a mistake that costs me money or something, because they wouldn't see me anyway. I just met them online and they are virtually harmless.
