Are you Non-vegetarian? What is your favorite one?

I am a non-vegetarian by birth. I tried to become a vegetarian and for 1 and half years I only eat veg food. I avoid meat, chicken, egg and tried only veg foods during the time. But I saw that without non-vegetarian food my health become weak. Few months back I started my previous non-vegetarian food. If anyone have similar experience than kindly share.

I am a vegetarian from birth and still maintain that standard though not very strictly.I eat eggs 3 times a week so that i get protein in my daily food. Once in a way if someone cooks chicken at his/her house and brings it and gives it to me then i eat it without having any problem. I do not eat mutton or fish at all. In my younger days i would sometimes eat mutton but no chicken. then when i became middle aged i totally stopped mutton and started having chicken whenever it was given to me.I have veg food everyday but it does not make me weak.

Interesting! it is great to hear that you are partly non-vegetarian person. I saw most of the people are healthy with pure vegetarian food. But who doesn't know how to maintain health without non-vegetarian, it is difficult to survive. I am one of them. You are lucky that you have good vegetarian diet to maintain your health. I am a Non-vegetarian. I like chicken a lot. I love to eat vegetarian food. Because here veg food is very tasty. A Person should have both veg and noveg food. It maintain balance between the two.

I need meat, and I believe all human beings need meat. Hair is made of proteins and protein is needed for women when they are having children. Also, a lot of the iron and vitamins that are in our bodies come from other animals. My grandmother is anemic, and without the iron from vegetables and meat she would be in a lot of trouble. People need to have healthy well-balanced diets. Without those certain nutrients, our bodies can crash. Now, there are those rare people who can live on vegetarian diets, but they are still subject to health problems same as anyone else.

Thanks. I agree with you. I personally experienced a life of vegetarian which effects my health. I don't know how people survive without healthy non-vegetarian food. Thanks again for your valuable comment.

I am trying to lessen my meat intake now.I am much more happier when eating my favorite fish.I still eat dairy products.I need to have my milk,eggs,and cheese.I want to eat healthy for a longer life and to prevent diseases.

I'm a non-vegetarian, infact a pure non-veg. Ya for survival I do eat veg food some times due to lack of non veg, but otherwise I like non-veg foods. Even though I like most of the non veg dishes, when cooked good, I prefer mutton & chicken the most compared to other dishes Happy Lotting
