What prevents you from doing exercise?

Personally I don't have enough time to exercise because of lack of energy, time and work demands. But when I have extra time. I take a small burst and walked to the park. And at work I take stairs instead of elevator. How about you, what hold, or stop you from doing exercise? Do you take time to exercise?

Hi Caregauraden I would have to say that motivation can be the culprit for me, I do excerise about 3-4 times a week I have and elyptical machine and I also do excerise videos that I have here at home to switch it up every now and then so that I don't get bored doing one thing. And yes I do take the stairs instead of the elevator and I also use the stairs instead of the esculator at the mall But I will say this nothing will keep me from excerising on a regular basis unless I am injured or to sick because if I don't get a release of endorphins that I need when I excerise I get a little cranky also for some reason if I don't excerise I feel fat or bloated especiall after I eat.

Well that's good. I agree with you that exercise boosts our mood and alleviates depressions, thus makes us feel happier. But you know when I got irritated or annoyed for some reason, I often do a little bit of karaoke for a short period of time. I don't really know why singing makes me feel better. Anyways thank you for sharing with us and keep doing exercise. Enjoy your weekends!

Hi careguarden! The only thing that stops me from doing my exercises is work. Before, when I wasn't too busy, I exercise everyday; just a simple yoga and a few cardiovascular routines. Now, I'm sooo busy with work that I don't even have time to stretch around :( The only physical activity I have now are the chores around the house, lol. Oh well, I guess it's better than nothing :)

Hello my friend veronizm, Yeah, that's probably the most reason that stops us from committing our self into the habit of exercise. Me either, my work occupied most of my time thus gets all the energy that I needed into doing exercise. Well doing household chores is indeed better than nothing at all. A little time of stretching, moving and walking well do. What matter is you tried your best to do little exercise. Anyways thank you for sharing with us and have a great weekends!

no i don't. i don't exercise because i don't like being active. i like to sit at home. and just sit there some more. and think! yes i like to think! i'm thinking a lot. also i really hate people, because some are oppressing. also, my own mind is oppressing. but i will not walk too much. when i want to. when i am ready i guess! no i go out every now and then. also i don't do excercise because i like to excercise my mind. my mind is really excercised. but not enough. that is why i have to go to a therapist. then i will learn about being human. i will also learn stuff i need to know about my negative traits in my disorder. also i am looking forward to rebelling with him so i can learn who i am. where my strengths are, and what truths there are that i disregard.
