Perfect SUNDAY afternoon

So what is your idea of a perfect Sunday afternoon? Sunday is the day of the week I love to stay home and just relax. My husband and I both have Saturday and Sunday's off. Saturday's we usually spend running around - sight seeing, shopping, grocery shopping, going to the bank, etc. Sundays I enjoy being lazy and just relaxing. Especially now in the fall we can watch football, throw something in the crockpot, and just enjoy our day without having to do much at all. Unfortunately we live pretty far from our families right now, so including them in our Sunday plans isn't really possible very often. If I were home though I'd love to spend Sundays just relaxing with my family. For some reason Sunday just feels like a very good day to relax, to me!

Yes that is what I like to do on Sundays too, just relax. I'm not into football at all. My favorite thing is to watch lifetime movies and munch out. While watching movies dinner is cooking.

I too love watching movies. But sometimes I love to go out with my hubby to his friends so that I can socialize on that particular day. Being a homemakes, and buing with a busy husband, I almost keep indoor the week long. We have 6 working days and so hubby gets his office off only on sundays when we plan a meal outside and then a lots of things together.......

My perfect Sunday afternoon would be curling up with some chocolate and a good book or a good movie and not be disturbed by ANYTHING. That's the phone, people, doorbell or other obligations such has having to cook dinner or get assignments done!

I'll let The Offspring do the talking for me:If I had a perfect day I would have it start this way Open up the fridge and have a tall boy Yeah Then I'd meet up with my friends Head out to the game again We don't even really care who wins Now excitement seems to grow When we're hangin' with the bro's When we're chillin' and we pound a case of Stroh's Now the game is cool to see You can "High 5" on TV Count the riot on the one two three Operation is in sight And the field is open wide When you break it then you know you're still alive If the cops don't make you pay And you make your getaway Then you know That's one fine day On that day before we're through We could torch a car or two Then have ourselves another tall boy Yeah Water hoses and batons That's the real game that's on I don't really give a xit who wins I believe it's my god-given right To destroy everything in my sight Cause it never gets dull, it never gets old The only thing it gets is more bold Drinkin', fightin', going to the game In our world it's a way to stay sane If you're asking me To have it my way, I'd say that's One fine day That would be pretty much it, yes;)

sundays find us in the house. after a few house chores, we just sit around and relax, watch tv or take a nap. it is a time for me to catch up with my sewing (just mending torn clothes or make new curtains, etc) or organizing the clothes cabinet. that we do after going to church, of course.

I do enjoy being with my family on sundays. Football season is also a plus. I don't look forward to the day after though. lol. The thought of monday makes me want to cringe. lol. Lets just try to relax on sunday without thinking about monday.

Wherever possible, we observed the Sabbath. No work today. Just as the Lord ordered. We all have private time to ourselves. Those who want to do Bible study and devotionals can do so. My husband watches his DVDs. I read my Bible and have time in prayer. The children can play computer games or laze around the house.

It's saturday and the sun is long gone. It's the day of the week to get all stress out of your body. You go out and party till the break of dawn. You are lucky, you haven't got a hangover. You slowly open your eyes and realise it is already after the noon. You wake up in the arms of your life partner. And you just know that you aren't quite ready to get out of bed=p
