The adobe dreamweaver works with win XP at its best but user who have upgraded ur pc to VISTA any version Or the latest windows 7 may face problems the problems usually are in opening of files previously built up on the same platform In win 7 it takes about 2 mins to open the file be it HTML , XML , CSS In VISTA it opens well n quick but the problem faced is while adding images and external files in the document keeping image adding dialogue box open for long may shut down the application or may give a system hang Be careful while using these 2 version vista and 7 this sudden closing of application may lead to data loss which u created and unfortunately did not save The official version for vista and win 7 is yet to be released So happy dreamweaving
