Even here in my place, the condition is same.the prices of every thing is rising high and high day by day and the middle class man is worst to suffer. All the young guys of my area have migrated to other places for better jobs.
The government here is not able to control the increasing prices and is making life of people more difficult to live.
here the salaries are so low that people prefer living or rather working in other places leaving there families here.

Things are actually pretty stable in Canada. No banks are failing up here. Of course times are tight for everyone, but we are not really having a problem, compared to the United States, and some other countries around the world. My husband is an American, and he thanks God every day that he moved up here to be with me in Canada.

In Australia, the effect of the ecenomic slowdown is minimal. Unemployment has risen, but no where as high as predicted. The Australian dollar is also doing very well against currencies around the world.

I dont think it is too good in really any part of this country maybe in the world. I think that unemployment is almost ten percent in the US and other places in the world I dont think it is that great either. I just wish it would be better for people who need to work.

I live in Louisiana. The US as well as the state of Louisiana are saying that Louisiana will be one of the least hard hit. As far as where I live, they're right. I live in Baton Rouge, the capital, and you would never know that the country is suffering financially. But what I have found is that the government is looking at the capitals/major cities for an idea of the financial state of the state as a whole, and smaller cities/towns/villages are being neglected. I have family that lives in rural North Louisiana, and it's awful! Just no one really notices because they don't contribute much to the state, I guess. idkkkkkkkk

Nice insight.
Thats true. The government must support the bigger cities because there are ore industries there.

hi again sorry to hear'that about the Philipines sounds almost like the US right now. here in California the economy is horrible, jobless rate is sky high,my own son has been out of work for months, the rents are sky high and few jobs to be found, its got too expensive for many of us to even live here. i suppose we too have some corruption in our government too but the economy is the big thing here, a lot of big companies have gone bankrupt and some closed a lot of their stores and the p rices on goods has gone way up. bad times right now@WATARIKENJI (1534)

Yeah, I heard that the unemployment rate there is still something to be worried about. How about the fed reserve chief saying that the recession is over?
Hope our suffering will end soon.
Take care
