Ok, I have a question..............
Which is the CORRECT WAY when trying to get a photo attached
with your discussion???
I usually always TRY, I SAY TRY to get the
photo I want to use with my discussion LOADED before I start
to write and half the time THE DANG PHOTO NEVER SHOWS UP...
sometimes it does, but not always
If I post the photo LAST after I get done typing out my discussion
then ( my words, sentences) wind up all garbled, and stupid looking;
Like I'm a complete idiot when typing...????????
So I ask you all WHICH IS CORRECT??
LOAD YOUR PHOTO FIRST?????????
or wait until you've finished typing out the discussion??
AM I THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM????????
It's one of my pet peeves cause it JUST MAKES ME CRAZY!
this is the discussion I was wanting to POST THE PHOTO ON;

but do you see the photo on it???
NOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
so here it is again or maybe not??
we shall see huh???
well, I'm back to typing here, the picture is loaded, I had to go back and "edit" my
discussion here as all the sentences were running together.....
Why Mylot Why??
Somedays you torture me so.....

Hi ya dreamweaverjan
Oh dear!! It shouldn't make any difference if you post the photo first or type out your discussions first. After browsing for your picture and selecting it you then need to fill out the information right? After submitting that you should scroll down and check that your photo is there before submitting your discussion. If it is not there then it will tell you they need more information and that would be the reason for the photo not uploading so you need to select the photo again. I hope this sorts your problem out, good luck

Hi Humbug: How are you??
Yeah you'd think it wouldn't really matter which way you do it as I've done it
first on some discussions and Last on some;
Sometimes they load and sometimes they disappear out into LA-LA -LAND...LOL!!!
The photo will even be "showing up" before I hit the POst it button or submit button whatever it is and then its a GONER when the discussion pops up??
Beats the heck outta me, its just one of those many "mind games" I suck at!! LOL!!!!

Hi Elic: Yeah that part just really makes me crazy, how the words go all together and our sentences and so on;
I do store a lot of my photo's under the My documents, my pictures I also have my harddrive partioned and most of my main things are there in DRive D;
I just think Mylot likes to play little tricks on us at times...who knows for sure;
it just makes Old Jan here CRAZY is all...er "crazier" I should say!!

I have that problem on occasion, part of my problem is that I don't hit the right button. I'll hit the button at the bottom of the page where the photo is uploaded. I forget that I have to hit the button by the start discussion. ARRRAAAAGGGHHHH!
You write out your post, then hit the add image button then down load the picture. When the picture is done down loading and shows up on your discussion, then you hit the start discussion button.... or the post response button.

I don't think it matters which way you do it, but you aren't the only one with the problem. I've seen plenty of discussions where a photo was supposed to be attached and wasn't. They end up having to post it with their comment on someone else's response. I've had it happen to me as well - and yes, when you upload the photo AFTER you've written your piece, you have to edit it before posting because it will wipe out all of the spaces between paragraphs. So, don't try to post until you've done the editing.

this problem is faced by most of the mylot users. i have come across many discussions regarding this issue but never seen any guranteed solution for this.
i feel this will surely be solved in the future days.
see that you upload photos which are small in size and also see that your internet connection speed is faster to quickly upload the files.

This is surprising since I never really had any problem with adding photos on my discussion, although I rarely add photos on my discussion and whenever I do, i never really encounter any serious problem.
