disgusting trend on the internet moneymaking sites

Has anyone noticed that sites that seem really good initially after awhile start changing the rules and refusing to grant as many points or money as they used to? the latest offender is IM report card which posted my comments one of which should have been worth 150 points but refused to credit me because I had 88 words instead of the required 100. They claim they posted it on their blog, but I don't read their blog everyday and I don't think most people do. All these new sites seem to change their requirements after awhile and don't pay as much as they once did. I find it very frustrating.

They changed that feature not to long ago and it's pretty clear in their guidelines to get credit the comment must be at least 100 words. I've done pretty well with IMReportcard. I wish I could get more referals cause thats how you make the real money on that site but I just don't know enough people yet. Just be careful next time. It will be okay.

It didn't used to be that way. It is a recent change. I'm not just talking about them. There are a number of sites that change the rules after the game has started!

Yeah I definately know what you mean by this but a lot of it is user who are taking advantage of different sites I know that was a huge problem with this site. I hate how some people ruin it for others often just to make a quick buck.

There is a comment on Survey Spot that is less than 100 words. It was written (and approved) today. I think whoever reviewed that comment, missed that they were breaking that rule. I think some of the people who look over the comments are really strict and some of the people are not. I wrote a review that was rejected and I thought it was just fine! I still like IMRC because I can make a decent amount of money there. I do think they change rules too often. I don't like that they refuse people from certain countries. I could have a lot more referrals if they didn't have that rule.

I'm sure that survey spot comment was me. I got screwed up on constant content which should have been worth 150 points. It isn't just them it is all sites that shortchange their members afterawhile. My lot is an exception to the rule.

I guess I don't understand what the problem is. They still approved your comment so you earned credits on it still, right?

This is terrible news. I guess we need to read all the rules

I am aware of most of the rules, but like I said all sites are subject to change and I dont like the chanes because it always benefits the site and not the user. That is part of doing business I guess.

I dont use IM report card myself but I have signed up to it as a favour to a friend thinking I would understand it. I didnt understand it at all! It was way to confusing for me! I dont get regular e-mails from them though when the blog gets updated and just wondered if you got them as they may hep you out. Atleast then you would know that it has been updated. I think also when sites get more members they cannot pay as much although I am not sure how true this is! I hope this makes you feel better even if it does nothing else! Stick to myLot you have a great laugh meet some great people and get paid for it! Much better than any other money making site in my opinion!

I agree with angelsmummy that its rather difficult to understand what it is all about. I have been a member for 6 months and suddenly they said my country is banned. There are others who said they have been short changed by IMRC. It used to be a very popular site and well praised but now all you hear is complints after complaints.

I think it is still a pretty good site, I'm going to hang with it awhile longer, but there are many sites that do this change routine when people start to make some money on them. It is really not fair to the members and they should not do that to people in my opinion.

I think you are probably right about that nakula. There seem to be many sites that lure you in and then change the terms after you start making some money on them. I find it very discouraging, and it makes me mad also.

I am a member of the site also and do find it a bit frustrating when I try to add perfectly honest comments on the site and they are just as good as some of the others and they are rejected. I think that their new word limit rule is that the first two have to be at least 100 words and those after that have to be at least 50. At least that is how I took it the last time I read about it. It could have changed since then. Overall, i think that the site is still pretty good though, a bit slow to approve new sites to review, and I am not fond of the daily limit on rating and grading sites, but I can say that the site does pay as it promises, and that makes it worth the effort to me.

I am sorry to hear about it. I don't work with many internet money making sites, but I heard abotu IM report card. It is not easy to make money online. We are putting a lot of effort to make money in peanuts. So, if some sites come up with reasons like this; it will be really irritating. If there are any changes in rules or policies they should inform each user in person through an alert as mylot does.

I am finding it hard to find things to post comments to, on imreportcad. It seems like everytime I go in there, nothing new has been added. I don't know anything about most of those, so therefor, I can't give comments. I think it so unfair that we have to have experience with them. I have only been able to comment on just 3 and that is awful. I want to comment on other things that I know about, but the comments are disabled so it is very hard to be able to make anyting there, at least from my perspective it is. I will just keep checking back, but I am not happy with the site and te way it does things. They do have their rules though, and we have to follow them. Good luck to ou and happy mylotting.

I agree but I think it's probably for sustainability reasons that they try to "chip" credits of the members. I dont think its right but I think that makes a logical explanation. it's important to read the updates so you dont get short changed. I tend to read it every now and then so I don't violate it. Getting news updates would also be good.
