Any fans of Google Chrome here?

My favourite browser before is Mozilla Firefox. I like FireFox due to its loading speed (it loads faster than IE, for me) and many add-ons, for own customization of the browser. But when I discovered Google Chrome, I totally fall in love with it. The tabs are detachable, make it easier to manage the tabs; the toolbars are hidden, giving more spaces to the website I am viewing; each tab are independent, if one of them stop working, just close the non-responding one, others still function normally...and many more. So any of you are fan of Google Chrome? If you are, what is the feature that you like? Or any other disadvantages you want to point out? :)

i'm a fan of chrome, been using it since not long after it came out no trouble. it's easy to use, and quicker. i even finally got my parents using it on their lap top. i like the fact of only having to look at your new tab for which page you want to go to.

The Most Visited Sites are displayed along with their thumbnails when you opened a new tab, which is different with other browsers. The purpose of opening new tab is to goto another webpage, they do make use of the empty tab to integrate something very useful.

hmm...i am using chrome for about many months...since i am a web programmer i had to check the pages in every available browsers....and had to find out if there is any problem in the alignment...the alignment will be different in different browsers if the difference between the browsers is severe then we had to change that....so i use almost all available browse...every one is good in one way or another...but i like most is firefox....the main advantage of chrome is it is light compared to other i think...require only little memory..it is in my system's case and i dont know what about yours?????

Yeah, the Firefox hogged up almost half the memory, and would become laggy if more applications are opened.

I really like Chrome, too. I like it for all the reasons you mentioned, but I don't think that it is quite polished enough yet. There are still a lot of features that I'd like to see in Chrome that I don't see there yet. For example, I really hope that there is more support for extensions/add-ons soon. There's only tentative support right now. Other than that and a few other small things, I really like Chrome--although I am sticking with Firefox for now.

Yeah, as it just came out, it do need some tweaks here and there. If add-ons are implemented then it would be nice. Hope it will be better in the future :)

I prefer using Chrome nowadays, it has this interface every start ups and it's making surfing easy. I used to like Firefox, but I just don't know. Now, if only Chrome has stop loading button, or is there?

Lol, I do have hard time finding the button when I first used it. It is on the right side of the address bar. It is a triangle pointing right when nothing is loading, and its a cross when loading.

I use Firefox mainly because I use 2 computers and I can sync my passwords and bookmarks between the two computers very easily. On Wednesday I will be adding another computer so Firefox will be used again. I have used Chrome from the first time they released it and it is a good browser. For those who say you don't understand it, you are basically not freeing your mind and are still caught up with another browser. Whenever I have trouble with Firefox I will use Chrome, it is fast and I never had any problems with it crashing or anything else. Once you get use to it you will enjoy it as much as any other browser. I really like the Most visited sites page...it gets me back to the most common sites I visit in a hurry. I don't have any dislikes for it. Just give it an honest try.

Oh yeah, the Most visited sites page, another great feature that I have forgotten to point out! When opened a new tab, we can go back to the site we just closed, the most visited sits. We can even integrate the search engine of a particular site and the starting tab. I do agree with rdadey that we have to free our mind and give anything new a try. We are not limited to using only one browser. I always use Firefox and Chrome together. :)

I'm a hardcore firefox user too, but I use chrome on a particular site on almost daily basis. My firefox is a bit tight due to noscript and with chrome I could freely browse a site unobtrusively. Chrome is really nice - overly simple interface. I had a hard time actually finding the commands at first but eventually adjusted to it. If it would have addons then firefox would be in hot waters.

Yeah, at first I really have hard time finding the commands. The lack of add-ons feature like drag n go, mouse gestures etc is one of its disadvantages as compared to FireFox.
