how do i download youtube vids then turn them to mp3

There are quite a few different programs to do this and you could find them on the web pretty easily I'm sure. Unfortunately this is illegal, so I'm not going to post any direct links or any specific programs. Use at your own discretion: you are, technically, stealing copyrighted material, so just know that before you download it.

There's a different program for extracting audio from flv or mp4 video formats... If you downloaded The vid from youtube already, I suggest research for a program that rips audio from video...The program I use, it's SuperC (it's free), you can convert anything with this program...
