Have youe ever tried putting calamsi on your underarms? They say that it's really effective to remove the smell of your armpits and it also helps in whitening of the under arms. Do you use this?

I have never heard about something called Calamansi. I am badly looking for some stuff which can whiten my arm pit. Can you please tell me what it is and where I can buy it. I would like to try it out and use it continously if it really works. I don't have a smelly arm pit. I use deodrorants - Royal Mirage.

Here in the Philippines, we can buy calamansi in groceries/market. It's scientific name is Citrofortinella. It mostly dwells in tropic countries. By the way, where are you from?

no, haven't tried using it. i use the commercially prepared deodorants and not calamansi (lemon). i have heard that they are good whitening agents too and does the job well as deodorant. i might try that one day.

You mean putting the fruit after cutting it in half? Wouldn't it be painful? I never try this method but it's not unheard of. I used to see my friends did it. I never know how it really feel because they never told me. But I used to run it on my face and it's stingy. I can't imagine rubbing it at my arm pit.

I guess it might work for a few hours... But no thank you, I'd by Nivea instead. It might feel weird having calamansi on my armpits, the weird sticky feeling....

Of course, you'll rinse the calamansi after you put it. You will not let it stay there as what you do with the deodorants. Hehe

i do not use calamansi as deodorant although I have heard if from many people. I know some people who uses this citric fruit as deodorant and they all claim positive results. I can not imagine myself using it because I know it's kinda sticky which I am not comfortable about.

Do you mean pure calamansi? I've heard of this but I've never tried it because I think it would hurt (if you're referring to unprocessed calamansi) because of the acid content.
