Do you go out with friends less now that you are out of school or have children?

It seems now that I'm older there is less time to spend with friends. Between work and home, there is way to much to be done. My spare time I enjoy with my family. I do try to get together with my friends once in a while, but it has gotten harder. What do you think? Do you go out less now that you are older?

I go out less compared to when I was younger but it is my finances that have stopped it not my age. I now have to stop and consider whether I can afford to go out or not. Work does not interfere and my son is grown up and married so I can go out with friends whenever I want if my funds allow it. Next evening out is Friday to a concert!

Oh yes, I agree. I've stopped doing much of what I used to do because of my finances also! And I have a little one at home and since I work full time, I want to spend as much time with her and the hubby as I can. I do miss going out with my friends like I used to. Concerts were one of our favorites! We do plan a few outings every once in a while. Good for sanity! Have fun at the concert Friday and thanks for your comment!

I just now finished the under graduate degree and got placed in the campus recruitement. I got the job and the joining are at the november month, So, i am staying at home and Enjoy the online communities, forums and chatting, etc.,, But my friends are busy in searching the jobs. They go for the longer distances to search for the job. So,it is not possible to go out together, It is not about the age, but the situation that changes when times go on. When every one got the job, definitely we will go out again just like before. Have a great day..

We go out with our friends way less now that we are out of school and have kids. There are a few reasons for this though. For one thing all of our friends that we grew up with live all over the country. In fact only a few stayed in the area we grew up everyone else moved out of state. As for having kids one we do usually have them with us, we have no money for extracurricular stuff, and all our friends have kids, so usually we are in some ones back yard. Not so bad we're out any way, just the fun has morphed into the next stage.

ever since graduation we never had the chance to go out and meet. we had live separately but never got the chance to chat either on the phone, internet or text. there was a planned reunion but we didn't attend because we have other things to do. well, i prefer spending time with my family and their kids.
