Kanye West Destoys Taylor Swift's Moment

Recently, the VMA's just came to a close. I know that Awarding Ceremonies usually have some kind of hype going on, but when I saw this in the Yahoo main page, I was really taken aback.

The blog has the link to the video that shows what stupidity ensued on stage.
The spotlight was supposed to be Taylor's, her moment to shine, but Kanye, by some STUPID I-don't-know-what decided to take it away from her. I cannot imagine how Taylor might have felt like when Kanye got her mic and began babbling about Beyonce's video being overlooked. My heart goes out to her as she quietly stood there, taking in what Kanye was saying. It was heartbreaking when I saw her smile got wiped out when Kanye began to rant. Disgusting behavior. Totally unprofessional and uncalled for.

At least, it was gracious of Beyonce to at least give Taylor a chance to regain what was taken from her brutally and selfishly by a jerk that goes by the name Kanye. Though Kanye apologized to Taylor and her mom right after, it still wouldn't justify what he did. Pick on someone your own size Kanye!

Was it staged? MTV has been known to stage things like this before. I'm not defending West but people looking for class shouldn't expect it from MTV.

I don't really know if this was staged or not, but basing on Taylor's reaction, I'd say it wasn't. I'm not an avid fan of Taylor Swift to start with, but I can say that her reaction was genuine.

Why is everyone so surprised this egomaniac does this sorta thing at every and any show he attends. Remember when he pushed yet another white person aside to rant about GW Bush being racist which was Ironic as Mr. West is by far the more racist. What surprises me is that the music community allows his behavior. They are all always embarrassed by his antic (as I am sure Beyonce was ,it wasn't her fault he was being a jerk and she seems like a very nice lady)yet they let him slide with a sorry. They should ban him from such events until he can behave like a man his age.

He's done this in the past too? Okay, in that case, the saying "Think before you speak" doesn't apply to him anymore since thinking seems beyond him already. I actually respect those who are capable of saying what they think GIVEN THAT THEY DO SO IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND THE RIGHT TIME. It was a shameful thing that Taylor had to undergo, in front of a million fans and millions more watching on television. I do agree he should be banned. I think he should visit a shrink because he certainly has issues that he has still to deal with.

I commented about that on a news article. I think that was totally wrong what he did.
It just really embarassed Taylor Swift and ruined the moment for her. I think that he should be ashamed of what he did. I guess that he will not proceed with that in the future. It would be a really bad thing.

I guess every artist in the Awards Night was commenting on what he did. I saw in the article that Pink was all out for Taylor, and had a few snide comments aimed at Kanye. The saying "Think before you speak" should really be posted outside Kanye's home. And it really wasn't his call to do such a thing. Publicity stunts.

Right on. Sour graping to the very core. Ugh, I just can't fathom the depth of his stupidity!! I don't even listen to his songs. Did anyone teach him manners or something??
