I didn't know some Mylotters regulary e-mail and phone friends! There have been some Mylotters who even have gone to meet each other! I had no idea! I really didn't! I don't have a lot of friends on Mylot and I like to delete friends if I have not been around for months! It is harsh but I have been burned so much by so-called friends over the years it isn't funny! Thanks to being used and having people think I'm gullible, which I think I'm not! It is hard for me to trust people and that is why I have few friends in the world! Even when I do try at friendships I love to not try like I should at the friendship because I'm very impatient! So I'm better off with only a friends and what I have are lifetime friends!

Well, my friend that makes the two of us. I don't know about any mylotters meeting around the places. I don't even know where to keep track of my friends here in mylot. One thing for sure is that I really like mylot and I believe that this is a social site.So I guess I better start learning on how to make friends here.
Regarding on friendship. I believe that friendship is the only thing that can be trusted in this whole world. That if you have a good friend and a reliable one too. I have a friend of my own whom I could trust and I could rely on anything. That's what friendship is for me though. That's what I have in mind.

Do not worry I don't think you are alone in the way you feel. I am quite cautious when it comes to getting close to people too. I didn't know that myLot friends met up in person or spoke on the phone either. I don't have any myLot friends that I meet with, and I do not of anyone on this site that does so. But it doesn't surprise me that much as there are almost 200,000 members on here now!

Its true that good friends are find to hard in the real world. I have heard from other mylotters that there was one member who has announce her birthday here and wishes to receive a birthday card on her birthday. Apparently, she received a birthday card from one of mylot members! Its amazing and true. 
I could not believe it. I have many mylot friends and I don't delete them as much as possible. There are times that I am not active when I am travelling but when I get home, I am addicted in mylot again.

I agree with you. I like having people that I talk to online, but I never found it necessary to call people from MyLot. I think I have enough friends in real life where having more online would just be difficult (and I only have 4-5 close friends, so I'm not saying this to boast!). I didn't know MyLot friends called eachother or emailed eachother either, so this is news for me too.

Thanks for the response! I plan to keep the friends I have and delete the ones I don't want. I have enough friends in the real world that will be there when I need them!
