as a family, we have yet to go on a vacation. we just dont have the funds but hopefully come income tax time and my husband's bonus we will be able to get out this state for a week. i really want to go to disney world but i dont know if my 2 1/2 y/o is old enough. is there a place like child care for a couple hours that i would be able to take him while my husband and i enjoy some of the rides? i am in the process of looking up vacation packages cheap for us to go.

There are many good hotels that will have quality child care, it also would depend on where you and your husband really want to go. Some friends went on one of the Disney cruises, this had events for children of various ages, which gave parents free time to themselves to enjoy things just for adults. One thing you can is contact those places you are thinking of going either online or from what ever toll free number they may have and ask them about their babysitting services. So many places offer it, some don't but the nice thing is that many places are going to be very helpful for answering any questions, and sometimes a phone call to one or two places ask if they have any specials going on. Right now so many places are trying to get business you may find that you can get better deals. I recently made those calls took a little longer to book a room but I did it a few months in advance which also made the rates lower but stayed on the Strip in Vegas for 170 for five nights.

I know how you feel about not having funds to go on vacation. My family has not ever been on vacation before either and would like to go before kids start moving out. Can you ask someone that is family to watch your little one until the both of you get back? I mean I am a person that would rather have a family member watch my children rather than just let some complete stranger or a child day care center watch over them.
