My friend called me today and asked out you get rid of fleas on cats...she says she tried flea spray, flea collar, and these drops you put on them once a month but they still have problems. What else can she use? Thought someone here might know. Thanks

I have answered this one in detail in the past and have a long article on it on my blog with reference to the products that I use. I have found that if the pet has good nutrition which is usually lacking with the cat foods we feed them, they will not pick up fleas. Our outdoor cat did just fine even though he loved the out of doors and we had a bad outbreak of fleas in our area. http://asklaurie.blogspot.com/search/label/Natural%20and%20Herbal%20Remedies%3A%20Pets%20with%20Fleas Sorry, it is a long article and it takes a long time to copy it over to here. I hope this helps those sweet little cats.

Basically if she's having that big of a problem of fleas. Maybe she should take her cat to the vet to have them look at it. There maybe something in it's system making them produce like mad. What I would do is put advantage on the cat. And take the cat with her. And Bomb the house with those pesticides. That way it's taking care of the problem on the cat as well as in the house. If she's only treating the cat that's not gonna completely fix the problem of the fleas in the house. So you have to do both.

yes i agree she might need to take them to vet. She doesnt have carpet floors in her house so might help cut down on fleas in house because of hardwood floors.

must be the weather making them more prone to it this year. Her cats are not outside cats but im sure it was her dog that brought them in
