Who do you like more, Gary V or Martin Nievera?

During the mid 80s, both started their careers and became rivalries. I still remember watching Martin's late show Martin After Dark and Penthouse Live where his estranged wife Pops Fernandez started their love story. For Gary, it was his dance moves that drive his fans crazy, considering that Michael Jackson then was very popular.
Both of them have their own titles, Martin is the Concert King while Gary V is the Total Performer. They released albums one after the other, and they seem to be on top the world.
Now, they will be together in one concert that fans never thought will happen. After all those years, I think they are still adorable to watch. I must admit, I really miss those years and I am proud to say that it was one of those living during the Golden Years of the music industry. Those days where almost all songs are original and with high quality. 
So if you're among those who witnessed their super stardom from the day they started, who do you think is better? Who do you like more?

I admire both since they obviously have great talents. They are great performers and it would be hard to compare which is better between the two. But I personally like Gary Valenciano more not because of his talent and skills but because of his attitude.

Both are very talented artists. I've seen Martin Nievera performed @ Mapua Intstitute in Manila years ago at the height of his career. He was pretty good..full of energy...but I don't think he could hit a note like Gary V does. I think Gary V does better as far as voice is concerned, but not everybody is a fan of his MJ moves. Martin has his own energy when he performs. Nevertheless i think the concert is going to be a hit :)

Sorry to be off topic here but you mentioned seeing Martin Nievera performing in Mapua, are you an alumni of the institute?

hi fatherblogger i like them both because i like the songs of gavy V. and i like the songs of martin Nievera i like them both the voice of two male singer is was great beautiful voice we have a successful career in showbiz!

Me, I like Gary V. Gary V has a much good quality of voice than Martin. Well that's my opinion. I do like them both but I rather choose Gary V. than Martin besides they are on a different voice, tenor for a baritone.

I like them both in different sense,but I much appreciate the songs of Mr. Pure Energy. I like Martin on romantic side, he is a belter for lovesongs and ballads. I like Flowers for you (not sure if that is the real title), Be my lady. On Gary V, he is our Mr. Pure Energy, of course people remember his songs for groove like You got me working hard, Shout for Joy, sa Yahweh. I also like his lovesongs like, Reaching out to you and Hang on.

I prefer Gary Valenciano over Martin Nievera because of his down to earth demeanor... i find Martin very boastful... and he talks too much... but Gary concentrates on his singing and dance moves... they are both very talented... but i like Gary V more...
I was really planning to watch their free mini concert at the mall last saturday... but was not able to make it because my daughter had coughs and colds... and it was raining non stop... i hope they will have another one here in my area again...

I'm a big fan of Gary V. I listen most of his music that really inspires listeners. He is really a total performer and for me he live up a good example not only with his music but to his personal life as well.

Martin Nievera is my favorite, because he has a wonderful voice above any singers. He has really a good voice. Martin Nievera remains unmatched up to these days. Gary is a good performer too, but I don't like his voice that much.

Both of them are great, awesome and have their own style which makes them very popular.
But if i will to chose from both of them. I will choose Gary V, I love his music, very inspirational, romantic and full of energy. I love his dance moves also..

I am more for Martin Nievera. I believe that he has one of the greatest voices we have in the country. Gary is good as well, but I see him more of a dancer than as a singer.
