Today after work, I was so sleepy while driving my car. I was so awake while at work, but somehow I just felt drowsy once I get the car moving. I knew it was dangerous, and I thought will be okay as long as I keep slapping my face. Luckily, I still could hold myself up, and drive all the way home. Once I arrived home, I just go upstairs, and lay on my bed for 2 hours nap. Could this happen to you?

Hi CLorissa123
No I can't say that this would happen to me first I wouldn't be driving if I was that sleepy where I had to slap myself to stay awake what time of day or night was it when you were driving home? If its the wee hours of the morning and you had a long day I could probably see that happening in that case just pull over somewhere get a cup of coffee if you drink coffee or something to help wake you up roll down the windows, turn on some music ect.. these alternativss are much less painful than slappying yourself in the face. You were lucky you didn't have an accident and hurt yourself or someone else.
Next time just wait a while until you feel less sleepy before you drive the most important thing is getting to your destination safely.

It was at the afternoon, around 3:00 P.M. I should stop at the gas station, or go around to the starbucks and grab a cup of coffee or something, like you say, and rest a little then keep on going. But I just want to get home early.
