Do you wear eyeglasses now?

hi there xchyler! :) yes, i do wear glasses because i'm near-sighted. i started wearing glasses when i was in my 2nd year in highschool. but because of my laziness in wearing glasses all the time and bad reading habits, i had to frequently change lenses because my eyesight was getting bad. but i've learned my lesson now and i'm wearing my glasses all the time already. and i no longer read in places with bad lighting.

Hi xchyler...... I'm not wearing specs and not yet worn. But In my family every one is wearing eyeglass. And my eyes to getting defective day by day, because of seeing computer most of the day. So in future I also will be wearing eye glasses... I think, I also will join u soon......

Im suppose to wear them and I know I need to I have noticed that my eyes have been getting worse. With no insurance thou it makes it hard to be able to get any. I did get a pair a little over a year ago and they cost dearly, over 300.00 dollars, however my son broke them and I have yet been able to afford doing anything in getting a new pair.

To answer your question, Yes I do wear eyeglasses. I've worn it since 6th grade and stopped wearing it for 3 years that made my problem with my eyesight much worse. The grade was 110 before it went up to 225. I'm actually near sighted. How bout you? I would guess you're far-sighted. Are you? By the way, if you're getting glasses and you're exposed to computers a lot I suggest that you to get glasses that has "anti-glare" to protect your eyes.

Yup, I wear eyeglasses. I got them in Grade 5. My parents noticed how I couldn't words from a certain distance and decided to get my eyes checked. I'm near-sighted as well, so I can't see things that are far away. Looking back on it now, I remember sitting close to the TV a lot. I wonder is it was because of that I've got poor eyesight or maybe my poor eyesight was why I sat closer to the TV.

yes I am using glasses from last 7 years now...and my eye sight is getting weaker and weaker...reason is simple...giving too much time to computer..

I thanked God for giving me big bright eyes!LOL! I never wear eyeglasses in 29 years of my life! When I was a kid I even hope I could wear one just to look a bit geeky! LOL!

Yes, I've been wearing eyeglasses since I was in High School. I do wear contact lenses though when we go out, but generally especially when I'm in front of the pc I make use of my eyeglasses. I'm near-sighted and have a pretty high-grade of glasses but I'm used to it and sometimes I even forget I have one on.

I've been wearing them since I was 15 years old and now they're are part of my life for so long I can't remember how it is without them. You do get used to it and then its quite natural. Try to get a pair that makes you look good. Sometimes they make you look better than you did before you had to use them.

I used to need to wear glasses when I was in high school, for reading and such. However, now I don't need them anymore. When I went to the optometrist towards the end of high school, she told me that I didn't need them. So, now, I'm university and I don't wear glasses anymore, as my eyesight has gotten better, although not perfect. I'm not sure what happened, but it's just the way that it goes.

I have been wearing eyeglasses since I was in Grade 5. I think it is because it runs in the family. The good thing is that it has not reached more than 150, the grade of my lens. But I wear them from time to time because it makes me feel dizzy not wearing one.

Good day to you to!Yup.Absolutely.I started wear eyeglasses since my 4th grade.When the first time I wear it really gave me headache.Then after a few days of wearing it, it start to make me used to it until at this time.And I do staring at the computer for 24/7 and this make my eyesight's power increase and my mom always breach about it.Starting from 40 to 70 it goes up until recently about 350 (I guess so) and I think it already increase bit more because I frequently headache.haha.But luckily nowadays the glasses are not thick anymore like the old days right?Otherwise, my glasses suppose to be so thick.haha.I can't even imagine how the thick could it be. i have been wearing eyeglasses since i was 15 or 16. my eyesight was not that bad during that time. but now, it's 250/250 already. i can't even read those signs or writings that's only a few feet away.

Yes, I wear glasses. I love my glasses and wearing glasses in general. It makes me feel smarter. I'm not sure why but it does ha. I plan to always wear glasses even though I have considered corrective eye surgery. Glasses arent that bad. I've never been a contacts girl. My eyes are too small and its such a pain to get them in then take them out for me. Glasses are great!

I wear glasses since i was in primary school. I love reading and was and still is a computer nerd and my eyesight became poor probably because of that. Now some of my friends are wearing glasses even though they have perfect eyesight because wearing glasses has become a trend in fashion...lol Cheers

i do wear eyeglasses whenever i face the computer. i also have the same situation (not seeing far) but i just tend to bring my eyeglasses with me when i go out of the house. just in case i need to look quite far. my eyeglasses tend to overpower my face and i don't have time to put on make up anymore to balance this out. also my frame, though a classic and durable, is quite distracting.

Yes, I wear glasses since gth grade, means I was 11 years at the time. Actually, it was too late to wear glassses at the time, I already have problem with my eyes since 2nd grade I think, due to very selectively choosing vegetables and fruits that I eat. My glasses went to minus 6 the first time I wore it and then 11 years from that, I wore minus 8 glasses with cylinder 1, which is very high considering that people usually only wear glasses less than minus 5. Now I try to eat all kinds of vegetables and fruits, but my eyes keep on staring at the computer for almost 16 hours of a day, therefore I want to do lasik surgery to my eye someday, maybe when I am 25, since right now I don't have the money to do that

hi xchyler, i am still young so i am happy because my eyes are very good now, i can still read far letters, and i am happy for it.. i hope i can't be like you this coming years.. that's why i am trying my very best to eat a nutritious food like vegetables, particularly squash.. i love squash so much, maybe it really helps me that's why they are still working and very ok.. and i don't usually stare to the television or even in front of the computer, and i make sure that if ever i do more time in front of the computer, i will glance a while outside because the whole day staring there without giving your eyes relaxed is very bad and can make your eyes so bad.. janebeth.

Good day! Nope. I never eyeglasses. I'm 37 years old and for about 10 years that I am using computers, I'm glad my sight is still that sharp. Sometimes, it is on how we take care of our eyes. For me, I let my eyes rest for some minutes from time to time. I can't imagine myself wearing one for now but I am looking for the day when I am older. Happy mylotting.

yes, i have astigmatism. totally blurred when the image is far already. either because of the computer or the books i was reading, lol! so there. :)
