I think that some persons have a principe, the more they get money, the happier they are. Money is a symbol of success for them. Money is number one in their value system. They try to get more money day and night. They sacrifice others something important in their life. In fact, life is not all about life. We need balance between money and life. We can buy medicine, but we can buy health. The important thing is how to make life balanced. Hi,mylotter, what do you say? Add your comment. Thanks.

I agree with you, but then again. How I see things now a days with this whole economy downfall. There is no way of survival without money. Money doesnt buy your health, but it does buy the meds you need to make yourself healthier or get better from an illness. Money doesnt buy love, but it sure buys the dinner you guys enjoy together, to car your ride in to get places. If you live life without money, you're just another bum in the streets, unless you have family that can take you in and help support you and your needs. And now a days, what family can take another family in and support them? Life is tough and tougher without money. That's what i think.

There are those who survive without money. They are self sufficient on the land and make do for themselves. They are the Amish. It is very difficult to not participate in todays society of using money and I only know of a few who actually do this, but they do not enjoy the luxuries that the rest of us do. It is a shame that a person has to depend on money to survive. Yeah, money will buy the meds to help make you healthy, depending on your condition. I have seen those dying from cancer who were the happiest people I had ever known and knew they could not be cured. Happiness is still just a state of mind and how you choose to look at life.

I don't think money makes you happier. It would be nice to have enough not to worry about paying bills but beyond that I think it can cause problems. When I first got married my husband and I really struggled for money but we were happy, for my birthday he made me a card because he couldn't afford to buy one and that meant so much to me. As the years went by he began earning lots of money in his job and we drifted further and further apart. On my birthday he would hand me a pile of notes and tell me to go shopping. he could never understand why this meant so little to me. In the end we divorced, money had a lot to do with it.

so sweet of your husband to make you a card. Many a times, we tend to forget that the value of gift is not about how much it costs but is about the thought behind the gift.

Hey, No that is not true. They actually done a test and found out that the people who got over $100,000 pear year were only a slight happier than the people who got $50,000 per year. So I think that the more money you have, doesn't truly mean that you will be happier. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Hi pormadi, Money can make the world go around. Money can mean everything to some people they base their lives around having enough money. Money for this money for that. We all need Money but we also need love, affection, friendship, attention that cannot be bought with money up to a point. Maybe you can buy a friendship but it is not a real friendship as such. Money is needed for food, clothes and medicine as you said but money will not buy us health. You are so right about that.

yes of course as we cant live without money. in everything that we do requires money. if we dont have money to pay for internet bill then i dont think i am here in mylot. aside from the basic necessity we need like food, clothes and etc. money is already part of our life, we are in big trouble without it.

This is the kind of crap the modern or space age world presents to people. In the past three or four years I've gone back to my Catholic religion and discovered by living experience that the closer you get to God the happier you are and that has nothing to do with money because I don't have any. Its two weeks to payday and I haven't got a cent. I borrowed 100 dollars from my manager today to last me until day after tomorrow and that's how it will go till payday at the end of next week. By all counts I am the most settled and cheerful person in my office - ask anybody here. And that is that.

I agree that there needs to be a balance. My husband and I are having a bit of trouble financially because we just had our first child and i just wen tback to work. If we had more money it would make our everyday lives so much easier we would fight less and be less stressed. I believe that to much money can cause unhappiness but the right amount will make it so much easier and in my situation much happier

Yes, you're right. But still money is a balancing factor. You will need money in lots of times to satisfy your self and be happy. Though you could be happy without money, nowadays, money is needed in lots of cases.

earning money in a right way is really a symbol of success.this don't make the we will be happier if we get more money. the more peaceful you can be much happier you are.ever morning we start at home ....this also comes true as peaceful home makes us happier the whole day.there are many problems which cannot be solved by money....some can be easily by a simple smile.the more is the money we have more are the problems we have...more are the problems we have less is the happiness we have

In todays society, it is money that helps a person survive. In Maslow's heirarchy of needs, survival is very key to our happiness. It seems as if a person who has money by earning it lives happier than one who only obtains their money without earning. There are people in my life who are very happy and do not have money to spare even for going out to eat a dinner. I believe that if you are capable of meeting your basic needs, then happiness will come easier than if you struggle daily to pay your bills. I also think that happiness is a state of mind that anyone can accomplish with or without money. I know that most of the people I know believe that if they only had more money then they would be happy. This could be true on some level, but I don't think it will help them achieve total happiness.

Well, Think about this, if we donĀ“t have money, the world would be better?? sometimes i think in that possibility, but i can`t see the result if happened, just everybody grew up whit this, and we need it to anything, but i think the people who have much money can be happier if they help others.

Money can give you happiness that is for sure. But it should not the end all and be all of every thing. We should not sacrifice important things in our life like family just to have money. Nothing can compensate for failure of family.

I think money drives every man to do more. But having more money doesnt equate with being happier. Its a fact that we need money to live. But we dont need one to be realy happy.

Money is all thing & also money is nothing. It can certainly buy some goods but not the happiness. It can buy medicine but not a life.It can attract boys/girls but not the TRUE lover. So on.So I don't think only money can make people happy although it has it's own value in its place.
