I am not a homely person. For sure, I can't just stay at home for whole week without stepping out for some fresh air. Since I have my son, I no longer help my husband and I spend most of my times with my boy at home. Being a first time mom is not easy, especially when my son is crancky and getting fussy. Sometimes I feel stress out too. However, I cherish every moments I spent witn my precious son. I need a fresh air although being a full-time mom. Every weekend, I will out by myself for some window shopping or even go to buy some groceries. My son will be taking care by my husband when I am out. I just can't stay at home for whole week,I need to be out to see the beautiful world. Let's share about your life, can you stay at home for whole week??? What will you do if you were just at home for whole week?

Since I have a ton of projects at home that needs to be finished, 2 kids, a backyard that is halfway through another project, and now my son is in school I would love a week at home!!!! Being at home doesnt bother me one bit...between errands for things for the house, grocery shopping, my sons back in school, and the fact that I am constantly busy around the house there is never enough time... so a week at home sounds like heaven to me!!! When it starts to get colder outside I wont be doing as much running --so I am looking forward to that --not the cold, just the less running around!! I dont know how old your son is...but enjoy this time while you have it...trust me there will come a time you will be very happy to be just at home!! LOL Happy mylotting.

Hi bookreadermom, From your responses, I can sensed how busy is your life now. Busy with housechores, kids and also your backyards. My son is still young, next year only he will go to school. Normally I will just at home taking care of my son full-time,doing some housechores. It is a kinda of routine job for me for the past 2 years. I will only do my cooking when my mother-in-law is outstation.Or else, the cooking will be done my mother-in-law. It may sound good life for me. Not really that stressful. I treasured every seconds and minutes that I spent with my son for the past 2 years. I can see him grow up from a little baby to a toddler. This kind of experience won't come twice and I am happy that I can takecare of him fulltime.

Hello shia88, I am a stay at home mother too. I kind of know what you meant. Previously I was working and only quit when I got my son. The transition from working to staying at home is definitely not an easy one. Initially, I find it difficult to go through just a day cooped in at home. But gradually, as life changes, I've learnt to adapt. And with that, comes new challenges. I no longer fret if I need to stay at home the whole week. There is always this thing call the internet where I can still keep in touch with the outside world. But of course, realistically speaking, ALL of us needs a breathe of fresh air once in a while. It's great that your husband can take over the role of minding your son for a while. It's good to have some ME time. As for me, I go out during the weekends too. But I go out as a whole family with my husband and son tagging along. I dont drive so I've no choice! lol...

Hi submerryn, We are in the same boat, A full time housewife now. When I first became a full-time housewife, 24/7 taking care my son, I am 100% not get used to it. I was like going to be crazy. I was kept asking myself, why I choose this kind of life? After a while, having my son at my side always, it makes me adapt to my new life and I am kinda of get used to it and it is not a bad life actually. It is just like I can't go out to get my own income now. I have to rely on my husband. Oh... you still have plenty of time to learn driving. Don't give up! I started to learn driving again after I married to my husband. It takes me about 1 month to passed the exam and finally I got my driving licence. So happy that I can drive to wherever place that I want without asking for my hubby's help.

Hi Checapricorn, I agreed with you, staying at home will make our time fully occupied too. It seem have alot of things to be done and time is always not enough. For me, after settling the most important thing, I will out for some fresh air to relax myself. It is the best way to lead my happy life.

Haha, yes whole week at home, that how our life now. Kid is still young and not schooling yet, thats why are closed up whole week at home. Actually I don't really feel boring at home, coz occupied with tonnes of work. The only day we go out is on Sunday or if the evening is nice will go to the playground for some fun running and play. If Sunday still at home, I will sure find some reason to go out and stop myself doing the house chores. If I go out alone, I will let the kid stay back with the daddy. Really, closed up at home is like the frog under the well.

Hi Lemonjude, Sometimes I also feel that I have tonnes of work for me to do while I am at home. But I am telling myself, I am not a robot, I need a break too. Since I has to get some vegetables & groceries every Sunday, it is also the time for me to have my fresh air without my son and my hubby. Although just for 1-2 hours, I feel satisfied with it. I just need to be out from home at least once a week. Maybe it is a kinda of habit that tag along with me since I am young. Very hard to get rid off it.

I am a homebuddy and I like it at home very much because i can do anything i want. i have everything i need and there's nothing else to ask for. i also do my job on my computer and i dont really have to wake up early in the morning to prepare for work. I have been like this for over a year now and I have no major problems so far. I am also a very exclusive type of person and I dont like mingling with people a lot so this type of living is the best for me. I have all my time in the world, i have everything i need in our house, gas money isn't a problem and i can always find friends on the internet. I think im gonna continue loving this life im in. :D

Hi Calai, From your comments, I can say that you are a homely person. You can stay at home for the whole week and just doing your own things. It is not a bad things, but then won't you need some fresh air too after staying at home for so long. Although we can find a friend online, chat with them, but sometimes it is also best to meet up together for a cup of coffee/tea, at least we can talk face to face and probably can do a quick window shopping.

I'm not really a homely person, but I am so used to being stuck in the house for weeks on end. It's not horrible, but at the same time, it's not the best experience. Usually, I stay on the internet. If I'm not on the internet, I'm playing Rockband or Guitar Hero World Tour. When you have a baby running around, it can be very stressful. That's one thing babies are good at, stressing people. Invest in brainy activities, if you're going to be home for days on end. Buy puzzles, sudoku, and other little things like that. Surely we don't want an I.Q. to drop just because we're always home.

Hi Goreautiful, Although you mentioned that you are not really a homely person, but you still can stuck at home for weeks. How can it be happened?? If I can have more time at home, I also want to be in front of my laptop, doing my things. Everytime when I am facing my laptop, my mind starts to think what should I do. It seems alot of things I can do it with my laptop.Sometimes I have spend 2-3 hours to clear up my backloads and it is still not enough time for me. I don't really fancy on sudoku or chess game. Playing puzzles is quite interesting and challenging. It consumes alot of time to finish up and need our brain to turn lef and right too to get it right. I love this game alot.

Hello Shia, I could not stand to stay at home for a whole week. I will go crazy, LOL. Just like what you said, I need to take some fresh breath out side too. Being tagged with 2 kids at home is not easy. I need some of MY OWN TIME too. That what i normally do is I go out to shopping malls myself and let the man look after the kids. But once I come back, the house will then messy with toys, DVDs, unclean bottles etc. I have to clean this big mess. So I rather ask my hubs to go along with me and the kids tag along with me. At least few hours walking at the malls, the kids is tired enough and headed home with hours nap.

Hi Vingyan, At this point of time, I am not dare to bring my son along when I am out for shopping. Maybe you can say I am over-protective,but it is the safer way to keep my son stay healthier. I agreed with you, when we left our kid with his daddy, the house will be in mess. It did happened to me too,but at least both of them have spend their quality times together and we just need to clean up the mess for them. I don't mind doing it actually,as long as I can have my own free time doing my shopping without any disturbance.

Staying home doesn't bother me. I love the comfort of my own home. When i stay home I clean and make dinner and do jobs on the computer. I agree that fresh air is good so if i am staying home for the week i also sometimes sit in the garden for few minutes to read books or just meditation outside is one my favorite things to do.

Hi Good2go2001, It seem you like meditation alot, that's good for your life. Reading a book is also a good hobby. I fully agreed with you that our own home always provide the most comfort of us. Sometimes when I m at home, I also like to try to cook something new for my family to try on, searching for new and simple recipe to cook. However, I as a lady, still need outside fresh air. Just a quick window shopping will make my day brighter.\
