Or perhaps you are a whole lot of Rock and Roll? Guess it is obvious where I stand! Just for fun which genre of music do you enjoy the most and how do you feel about songs that get remade from one Genre to the next? Prime example Missing You originally a John Waite song from the 80's remade country by Brooks and Dunn.

I like all kinds of music rock and roll,country,r&b,hard rock, even some classical. I like about everything except for Opra music. I can't stand to listen to one kind of music all the time.

Hey wolf... I'm with you on the rock! I prefer rock over other genres, although the occasion and mood sometimes calls for some Phil Keaggy and his acoustic. He redoes some old Beatles stuff, since he's a fan, but I've never heard anyting by the Beatles. I like Slacker radio, because it lets me make my own radio stations with the bands I enjoy, and only those bands. It's free on top of that! Can't beat free... Dive Deep!

Whole lot of Rock and Roll, that's me. I like some country music but I sway like the wheat towards it when I really hear something that has a rock beat to it. I heard the song you are talking about, its okay, I like it when originals stay that way. Disney has a whole slew of songs they are remaking for the current listening audience and I just happen to be in ear shot of it all.

Does my avatar say it all or should I add something? I'm a whole lot country. I like the remakes but it drives my youngest daughter crazy when she points out a "new" song to me on the radio and it's something I'm familiar with that another artist had originally done.

Hi, shewolf I like both country and rock and roll. I love the simple and straight-forward lyrics of country music. I am also a lover of rock and roll, but I have to say that it gets harder and harder for me to appreciate new rock music. I am still hooked on the old ones I do not like songs that are remade much. I always like the original. Nothing is better than the original. Have a nice day!

hello shewolf^^;;I can say I'm a closet country music lover since nobody could guess i would ever like it. I like metal rock before when i was in highschool. something loud that goes with a headbang LoL and I used to attend concerts performed by local rock bands. I thought it was so cool playing the guitar and drums. I never listened to boybands because i thought at that time it was too oily. I didn't join those young girls screaming over young boybands. But when i went to university, i met friends who like country music and one of them is a good singer. I started appreciating the music when i can relate the lyrics to our lives and the melody is just so sweet since it is most likely lovesongs. Now, I can listen to every kind of music. From jazz, classical to rock and country. I'm not choosy anymore as long as i like the lyrics and rhythm. I guess my interests widens as I get older. But still i can't remove rock in me, so i would still prefer alternative rock than any other.^^;;

For me I am a little bit country,which if you had met me on the street or looked threw my photobucket you would say no way LOL. I usually enjoy remakes most of the time. This one rock group redid Lollipop and it was good. Aaron Lewis has also redone some songs that were good.

I used to be all heavy metal when I was a kid. I was in high school when I started listening to blues, rock n roll and even country. It expanded my musical abilities as well as my friends said I have a great taste of music, my wife said otherwise, I have a weird taste of music.
