Keyboard freeze

I recently purchased a netbook (about 2 1/2 months ago.) Lately I've been noticing that I'll be in the middle of typing and my keyboard just stops responding. Basically it no longer recognizes the keys and I have to restart the computer. Has anyone ever had this happen before? I'm wondering if I'm pressing something accidentally that is locking up the keyboard? Is this possible? If not, any other ideas? I've ran virus scan several times and spy bot and nothing comes up, so I don't think it's a virus or anything.

Maybe you loaded too much programs on it and it causes the computer to stop responding. To my opinion it's not a hardware problem. It might be the software you installed recently. Try to remember a few applications you added recently, this might be causing this kind of problem.

Hmm I really haven't recently loaded any new programs. I mostly use my computer for the internet. I guess it could be me using too many applications at once, but I've also had it happen when I only had one window open.

Sometimes the programs are running in background. try to press ctrl+alt+del to close unwanted programs or useless programs running in the background while your keyboard still works. If there was a problem with your keyboard, I think it would not work at all and not freeze like you said.

hello i advise you to check your keyboard settings once more. another advise is that press all keys slowly one at a time to check keyboard is responding or not. hope you are all right with your keyboard soon.
