When i asked him,he replied that i used to give responses only that too for new users,so there is no need of accepting friend request. And he don"t want to post discussions also. How we can understand his mentality?

I never reject a friend request because it doesn't make a difference whether I accept or reject a friend request. So in order not to hurt anyone's feelings, I will just accept an FR even if that person doesn't share the same interest as I do. I never send out an FR unless I feel that person is worth following their discussion. I don't understand why reject an FR? It makes no difference, does it?

What? Are you offended by this? I'd get over it and move on! I reject friend requests all the time! Usually it's from newbies and I have nothing in common with them. I don't think accepting friends is the big deal that most people place on it! It may be an ego booster for some? I have friends here from a year ago, I've never shared anything with them? Go figure! Before I accept I need to see some background showing some of their posts and responses! I'm 61 years old what do I have in common with head banging game players? tdemex

Hi,tdemex,Thank you for your kind response. You pointed out some truths like ego satisfaction, expecting responses and expecting some more Earning sites references etc.Any how it is up to member's interest whether FR is accept or not.Happy mylotting.

I don't understand the first part of your discussion about new users, but basically, everyone has the right to reject friend requests or to post or not post discussions, for any reason they want. I reject most of them because I don't really consider friends very important on Mylot. They're not really friends at all, just people who want you to read their discussions. If I find that I have some interests in common with the person and that I'd probably enjoy commenting on some of their discussions, I will accept them as a friend. I probably only accept one out of ten or twenty requests. I've stopped posting discussions and only comment on other people's discussions. That's my mentality, and your friend is entitled to his.

Hi,you are true, but what i expect from him is at least keep pending the FR under pending friend request tag.It is up to him either he accept FR or not,but some members may get felt bad when they see the reject FR.Any how thank you for response and have a nice day.
