I speak four languages, Hindi, Tamil Kannda English

I'm proficient in English, but am in America. I can read and write some Spanish, and speak a little, but just enought to get directions and that's about it. This is one area I am looking into working on. I know a handful of words in other languages but not enough to hold a conversation. This is one area where I think America is failing as a nation in general. We should require our kids to be multi-lingual and be able to cope in a global society without assuming everyone needs to comply and know English.
