I have quite a few memorable vacations. I loved spending Thanksgiving at the Hilton in Destin Florida growing up. Visiting the Coca Cola museum in Atlanta and getting sick of the free coke was great! My favorite trip recently was to New Orleans Memorial Day week of 2008, I went on the Ghost Tour and the cemetary tour. Partied on Bourbon Street. It was a BLAST. I also went back to Destin this March for the first time in 10 years and it was just as beautiful as I can remember. I wish I could travel more frequently. There are so many places I want to go that I haven't had the chance to see yet. New York is at the top of my list. I would love to go on the Sopranos tour!

My best vacation was Central America three years ago. I went there alone and visited three different countries: Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. I spent time on palm fringed beaches, snorkeled to see sting rays and nurse sharks and saw Mayan ruins. The most memorable day was the one when I swam into a cave, did much climbing and saw broken pieces of Mayan pottery.

The first time my husband brought me down here to Florida is probably my most memorable vacation. It was my first trip to Florida and my first meeting with his very large, extended family. My husband showed me several lovely beaches while we were here...the beauty of Lake Okeechobee and I had the thrill of seeing very large alligators in the wild.
