We used to have dogs since I was little and until now we have 5 dogs with us inside our house. When I was pregnant to my first child, I'm living in a condo here in Manila, my mom brought me a dog because she knows that will cheer me up because I'm a bit bored and looking for something to get busy with. So my mom decided to bring one of the puppies for me and for me to play with or talk with (sounds crazy, but it's true). I'm cooking food just for my pet and we used to take a bath together...so sweet...It's like I'm practicing being a mom to him... by the way his name was "vanilla"... So he's like my first baby... feed him, bath, brush hi teeth and put baby powder on him... comb his fur and etc... And time to go back home, mom and dad fetch me to condo because my due is getting near. I went home carrying my baby vanilla. If i'm going to the CR he'll follow me and pea also. He really was attached to me because he knows his safe with me...he sleeps with me on my bed, i put him clothes and look you in the eye with him doing the puppy eye for you to give him food... until i gave birth, i wasn't able to prepare things for him so mom took charge of him because he really is a brat to me then to mom... Until one day, mom was cleaning the fish we're going to eat for diner and vanilla's with her at the dirty kitchen, om didn't know that vanilla's picking those parts of the fish that shouldn't be eaten by dogs. Vanilla loves it, until the next day, vanilla looks so pale... Don't wanna eat even drink... Am looking for his sweetness, but he's getting cold and don't wanna move from his place... The next morning, he's just lying outside the door, his eyes moving like telling something... He striving to fight the pain and get well... he wanted to move but his body can't... I feel bad and also mom because he's really like my mom's baby... he's moaning calling somebody to be with him.. he's dying... So now, dogs are not just man's bestfriend, they're also part of the family.... :)

I am sorry for your dog which is ill. I hope Vanilla gets well soon. Coming to topic of dogs really meant to be man's bestfriend, Yes in my view mans best friend is dog. They have good understanding with humans then any other animal but training them is very important if not they will become menace to others.. One should take their time for their dog and just spend a 30 mins of time daily with them that is what dogs expect. Dogs have no selfishness and eat what we give them, sleep where one ask them to sleep, no need to buy them clothes,etc.. Dogs even patrol the house and they do lot of things for us. So, it is the duty of human being to atleast give them proper healthy food. Take care of their health by taking them regualarly to veterian every 2 months minimum. Give them a bath, so that they remain clean and disease free. I am planning to buy a dog because I love them, my parents never allowed a pet in house. Reason is that they become very much attached, so, when they die they cannot take that sorrow, that is why they never allowed me.. I will somehow convince them and buy..

Dogs are natural best friends. They are more loyal to you than humans because they don't know how to backstab you and they don't really complain to you even though you scold them for doing something wrong. Some dogs are able to take care of the sick without feeling tired. They can't talk, but they care. They listen too. That's why talking to dogs is very therapeutic - you'd feel better. So, yes, dogs are meant to be man's best friend.

I'm sure they can!! In my country we say: "While I know more people, I love my dog much more" xD
