In the days of the drafting of the Constitution, the "slave" states wanted Slaves to be counted as a person.
Today pro lifers want fetuses to be counted as a human being.
In the days of the drafting of the Constitution, the "Free" states didn't want slaves to be counted as people at all.
Today, the pro choicers don't want fetuses to be counted as human beings at all.
The "comprimise" was that slaves would count as "3/5" of a person.
Today the "comprimise" is that fetuses aren't considered human beings until 22-25 weeks of gestation... Hmmm... 24 weeks of a 40 week gestation period... 24/40.... 3/5. Wow!
So you see, we literally have a 3/5 comprimise here.

Is going to take a shot in the dark on this one parated, is it because the fetus is unable to live outside the womb before that time? As for the slaves issue I do not see a velivance at all for they are living breathing persons living outside the womb and in no way should it have ever been a question whether they were human.

Both the 3/5 comprimise and abortion on demand are based on the bigoted and wrong idea that someone is "not really human".

Well the law contradicts their own claim that it isn't a living being. Anytime a MAN kills the fetus without the woman's permission, he is charged with homicide. There have already been several cases of this where men have used the abortion pill to end a pregnancy they didn't want but the woman did.
