I always thought that there are only three military branches but found out today that are are still other less known branches, one is space and the latest is cyberspace. If you are a soldier, which branch in the armed forces would you be in, and why?

In the United States, our military branches are: Army Navy Air Force Marines Coast Guard I believe each branch is needed and necessary. God Bless our troops! I have a brother that was Navy and one that was a marine. If I had chosen to join one, I really do not know which I would have chosen. Possibly Coast Guard. I love the water!

I always consider the marines and coast guard as part of the navy, but maybe it depends on how each country structures its armed forces. I think some countries do not have marines, coast guard, and navy for the obvious reason that they don't have any water around to deploy them.

I want to enter in Airforce and Navy but unfortunately I didn't pass there medical examination that is my biggest disappointment ever in my life. My father is a retired Navy so I want to follow his footsteps but sad to say I can't be like him. You have a responsibilty to your country and it is fullfilling job compare to other profession. I want to be an Airforce because I want to know how to fly an airplane and Airforce is not send in the battlefield like also Navy. Army and Marines are always send in the battlefield in Mindanao so it is very risky to them because terrorist always targeting them in ambush..
