Like swing flu can a dog cause any problem to humans

Like bird flu,swine flu, from dog get canine flu which has no evidence till now that humans are affected with that disease.actually,'canine influenza virus'is an influenza A H3N8 influenza virus(not an a human influenza virus)that was orginally an eqine(horse)influenza virus,it is believed that this virus jumped species from horses to dogs and has now adapted to cause respiratory illness in dog and spread efficiently among dogs.this is now considered a new dog-specific lineage of H3N8. The symptoms of illness in dog include cough,runny nose and fever etc...you need to take care from rabies only if a dog bites only will affect us..no flu from dog will cause problem to humans

In present situation where lot of new diseases are being dignosised it is good to known information and symptoms beforehand than knowing it after getting it. As there are many flu's spread through animals and especially domestic animals i just wanted to know whether dog could be dangerous in getting flu. But as per your information i am happy to know that it is not dangerous.

Besides rabies, as mentioned by other myLot members, so far dogs have not transmitted any other types of diseases to humans. However, take note that dogs also suffer from canine flu which contains the H3N8 virus. It's not a danger to humans. But then, who would expect pigs to transmit the H1N1 virus to humans, right? So, it's just best to take precautions.

Well just like swin flu or bird flu we can get a disease from the dogs, which is also called as rabies as far as i know rabies is a disease that happens to be caught by the dogs only, but if these dogs are in any contact with humans then the human has to go into a fatal disease.
