my front house faces east. that is why when noon breaks, the sun faces the front of the house and it's too house to stay inside the living room. I like it when it's morning because we could stay in the front patio of our house because the sun doesn't face in our front when it's morning.

My house was built facing North. It's not based on Feng Shui or whatever religious or pagan belief there is, but because how we want the solar panels maximize the availability of the sun. The solar panels are located in the south and west wing of our house.

My house faces east, too. I'm never up early enough to see the sun rising, I hate to say. I have large windows in my living room and I always keep the drapes closed in there. If I didn't, it would make the heat in the winter or air conditioner in the summer run more and it would run my power bill up. I have gotten up early in the summer in the past to go horseback riding and I got a chance to see the sun rising then. It's beautiful isn't it? I try to ride in the coolest part of the day because it's not good to get the horse too hot. That's either early in the morning or after supper. Kathy.
