I need to type on a PDF document; it is a form I need to complete. The form is on a government website (the Social Security Administration), and when I try to copy it to my files, it is copied in Word, and is unusable. I have microsoft works word processor, and I scanned a hard copy of that PDF form into that program, but it told me that I cannot 'edit' unless I purchase another program. I don't want to spend more money, but I really need this form! Please help and thanks!

hmm thats rough one. Maybe you have to just print out the document then write the answers in and either scan it back into the compuiter or fax it. Sorry wish I could be of better help!

I think that's the whole point of PDFs, hm? Y'know...so NO ONE CAN EDIT THEM?! Do you have to submit it online? Maybe it's one that you have to print and fill out by hand. Just a thought, that's all.
