Things Are Changing For The Better (I Hope)

Well I went back to school a few months ago and got a new job at a hospital close to my home. So far things seem to be going so much better than at my last job and there seems to be a lot less tension and drama and I can actually have a good time while I am at work. I never thought I would go into the medical field but the job security was really good and there were many jobs out there so I figured I would give it a try. I was surprised to find that for the most part I really do enjoy it and it is always a great feeling when you can help people. I was scared to death when I first started school and on my first day of work. I was nervous that something would come up that I would have trouble with and not know what to do but once I started I found that the people I am working with are all really great and will for the most part go out of their way to help you and show you how to do things. It is nice not to wake up every morning dreading work so much and never knowing what was going to go wrong that day. Have you ever had a job that you couldn't stand and set out on a new career path that was unknown to you? Were you happier after you did or was it a mistake?

I was working in an office job and about to resign. The general manager for our sales department approached me and offered me a position in the sales field. It was very risky, since it was mostly commission and bonus based income. But, I figured since I was going to leave my current position, I might as well try it out. It worked out great. I ended up climbing up pretty high in the company and getting some great recognition, along with a great salary too. It is always good to try something new. Change is good. Good luck to you in the future!

Congrats! I think everyone has been in the situation that they would rather be doing something else. Not all actually go through with it. Thumb's up for being strong enough to take charege and change your situation. I changed paths once and was happy with the income difference but I have been considering something else lately. Take care and good luck with the new job!
